Soundboard plasterboard, also known as acoustic plasterboard or sound resistant plasterboard, is produced in 10mm plasterboard and 13mm plasterboard thicknesses, engineered specifically for high-performance acoustic wall and ceiling systems where fire rating is not required. Its sound reducing properties and noise control performance make it well suited to home cinema rooms, recording studios, commercial music studios, offices, hotels, classrooms and any residential or commercial space where acoustic performance matters.
